Hundreds of children wrote “Letters to Santa Claus” at the Parnassos and Voras–Kaimaktsalan Ski Resorts

Just before Christmas, HPPC, a subsidiary of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (HCAP), dedicated Friday, 19 December 2025, to actions of social solidarity, support for fellow citizens in need, and joy for children.

This year, as part of its corporate social responsibility, the company supported the work of the non-profit civil company Emfasis Non-Profit, which assists people experiencing homelessness and social exclusion. More than 100 HPPC employees participated in the “Merry Streetmas” program and welcomed Emfasis Non-Profit staff and volunteers to the company’s premises. Under their guidance, they packed essential goods and wrote messages of goodwill for the organization’s beneficiaries, in an atmosphere of enthusiasm for participation and deep emotion for offering support to those in need. In total, more than 400 kilograms of food were packed, while the overall contribution to Emfasis beneficiaries from this initiative will be even greater.

On the same day, HPPC’s ski resorts at Parnassos and Voras–Kaimaktsalan took on a festive look and welcomed the first visitors of the winter season—students from schools in neighboring areas—as, for the second consecutive year, the company participated in the initiative “Write a Letter to Santa Claus,” in collaboration with Hellenic Post (ELTA). The two ski resorts hosted hundreds of primary school pupils from the respective municipalities, who played in the snow, wrote letters to Santa Claus, and had the chance to meet him in person, in a surprise appearance by the children’s beloved Saint.

Through initiatives like these, HPPC tangibly demonstrates its social role by investing in the support of vulnerable groups and in creating experiences of joy and inclusion for children and local communities.
