Medical Coverage / First Aid

As part of its commitment to providing the highest possible level of service to its visitors, the Voras–Kaimaktsalan Ski Center offers free medical care at its fully equipped and staffed medical facility.

Medical coverage for visitors includes the following:

• Provision of First Aid within the Ski Center at the First Aid Station located in the main chalet, in the event of an accident or sudden illness.
• If, in the judgment of the First Aid Station physician, the incident requires further medical investigation and the patient is unable to move by their own means, transportation will be provided by an ambulance from the nearest EKAB (National Emergency Medical Service) station (Arnissa or Edessa) to the nearest public hospital.

A necessary condition for the provision of the above services to an injured or ill visitor/skier is that they visit the Ski Center’s First Aid Station, be examined by the station physician, and have the incident officially recorded in the Patient Log.
