Ski Resort

Our ski resort is located on the borders of the regional unit of Pella, which forms the boundary with Skopje (North Macedonia). Mount Voras, also known as Kaimaktsalan, is the third-highest mountain in Greece, with an elevation of 2,524 meters. At its summit, right on the borderline, stands the small chapel of Prophet Elijah, a monument dating back to World War I.
The ski center began trial operations in 1994 with two ski lifts and one mountain shelter, while its official opening took place in 1995. Since then, continuous improvements have been made both to accessibility and to its facilities.
The lowest point of the ski resort is at 2,050 meters, where the main shelter, parking area, and ski schools are located, and it reaches up to 2,480 meters at the end of the Kremasi ski lift route. The view from the mountain is spectacular, and when weather conditions allow, visitors can see the Thermaic Gulf and the peak of Mount Olympus. The resort features long and wide slopes without particular difficulty and is considered ideal for improving technique as well as for off-piste skiing on untouched snow.
